Education





We believe that education and conservation go hand in hand. We do not want to impose on the Maasai their life style, but we do not want either that Maasai are forced to become Westerners. A well balanced education may be the answer. If education –for a Maasai – will mean getting an understanding of who you are, what your culture is, what the outside World is, then as a Maasai will have a better future. You will be able to make a free choice and decide to not abandon your traditions, or chose to adapt to the Western Kenya way of living. Through Education we aim to provide the tools for such free choice.
