Schools

 
MWCT has built three large divided school rooms housing two grades each, and has plans for more classrooms. We just built an entire school, which will be run privately, made of 8 classrooms and 2 teachers’ housing.

The ideal school should have a classroom for each of the eight grades, plus one for the kindergarten/nursery. A classroom can be built for approximately $6,000. There are also other basic needs, including a staff room and office for teachers and a store, in each of the schools.

Basic hygiene conditions require we install pit latrines for the children and a bathroom for the teachers, in each of the schools. These are our long terms projects.
