What We Would Like to Do

Water and Electricity to dispensaries: what has been done for the main dispensary could be replicated to the other two dispensaries, serving the 400 square miles of the Maasai reserve.

Dental Clinic “Franco & Stefania Tamiazzo”: to honor the memories of two long standing supporters of MWCT, we would like to implement their project of having a dental clinic for the 7,000 Maasai inhabiting Kuku Group Ranch, together with a facility to accommodate volunteers.

Delivery room: In a recent survey, we determined that up to 94% of births within Kuku Group Ranch take place at the home. In the whole ranch there is only one place for the mothers to deliver their children. We plan to build delivery rooms in two different areas of the ranch.

Emergency Vehicle: Obtaining a vehicle for the health sector would be truly invaluable towards the mission of reaching the entire community, and the development and improvement of all of the dispensaries. Without an emergency vehicle, it is extremely difficult to transport serious cases to the nearest hospital, and it is often impossible for the doctor to get to the patients in time to assist when there are emergencies.
