Introduction

Simba Project is collaborating with Kilimanjaro Lion Conservation Program, to understand the dynamics of Kuku Group Ranch predators. KLCP is one of two projects in Kenya under “Living with Lions”, a research and conservation group affiliated with the University of California, Berkeley, Oxford University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Between them, the biologists and assistants within the group have over 3 decades of experience in large carnivore research and conservation. Living with Lions is a not-for-profit organization based in Kenya. It is supported by the Wildlife Conservation Society, and the African Wildlife Foundation.
